The Underwater Ruins is much more readily accessible if you have a ship but it’s not required, but the fact that you are asked to own a ship to reach this place just shows how formidable this place can be.

However, the rewards from this place are bountiful, so many adventurers are attracted to this place despite its distant location.

There’s quite a gap between the difficulty levels in Protty Cave and Sycraia Underwater Ruins, so choose your path carefully.
Adventurers who have just transitioned to Succession / Awakening should visit Protty Cave

while veteran adventurers who are Lv. 61 and above and possess high tier gear are recommended to try Sycraia Underwater Ruins.

This is where the amphibious-looking Protty gather.

Protty Ootheca, Sid Protty, Protty, Jera Protty, and Kaz Protty all inhabit the cavern.

You can find Protty Cave on an island not far off the shores of Velia - Weita Island.

As long as your level and AP are high enough, a boat is all that stands between you and destroying the monsters in the cavern!

 Adventurers will find <Ancient Weapons> such as Damaged Pirashes, Damaged Lykins and Damaged Kurebas within the ruins that have lost their powers while defending the place against the threats from Protty Cave and outside invaders.

They are heavily damaged and are no longer able to use their powerful attacks,

but they still pose a substantial threat to Adventurers.

There are scores of them to contend with, so let your guard down for even a moment and you’re likely to face an endless onslaught and a surefire death.

The entrance to Sycraia Underwater Ruins can be difficult to find for first-time visitors. You’ll need to find the location shown in the world map (Hotkey: M) below.

This is currently the most difficult hunting ground in the world of Black Desert.

It is harder than the infamous Hystria Ruins in Valencia, but the rewards are even more amazing. Only the greatest Adventurers with the best gear can survive in this hunting ground.

But this can also be the land of opportunities as well.

This is where the fully operational <Ancient Weapons> Pirash, Lykin, Kureba, Elmermol are found.

You will also find the structures Tower of Restoration, Sycraia Force Field Defender, and Sycraia Eyes of the Deep Sea.

Abyssal Zone of Sycraia Underwater Ruins is a large scale hunting ground. There are areas in between where you have to swim across to get to another part of the ruins.

Similar to the Upper Zone of Sycraia Underwater Ruins, you will not be able to find your location in the world map. You will need to familiarize yourself to the surrounding elements.
